Three steps — no forms, no spreadsheets
Employees do not have to learn a new system, and managers do not have to chase timesheets at the end of the month.

The employee reports from their phone
Clock in, break and clock out in a single tap. At that moment the app takes one location reading and sends it with the report — and nothing more.

The server verifies and calculates
It measures the distance to the work site, then computes gross and net hours, breaks, overtime, lateness and early departures against that employee’s schedule, and flags the exceptions.

The manager reviews and approves
A live board of who is working right now, daily and monthly reports to export, and correction requests that come in for approval — without ever overwriting the original report.

Sites and geofences
Define a work site with a radius in metres. A report from outside it is blocked, flagged for review or raised as a warning — whichever policy you choose.
Breaks by type
Meal, personal or your own types, each with an expected and a maximum duration per shift. Reports show total break time and the split by type.
Daily tasks
Assign a task to one employee, a team, a department or a whole site. They see it before clocking in, tick it off with a note, and you get notified.
Corrections with a paper trail
An employee who forgot to report files a request with an explanation. Approving it appends a correction — the original report survives, and every change is written to the audit log.
Schedules, holidays and absences

Location is read when you report. Not before, not after.
An attendance system does not need to follow people around to do its job. Workino is built so that the necessary minimum is also the maximum it collects — including while the app is open.
One reading per report
Location is read the moment you tap clock in, break or clock out. There is no continuous sampling and no route history.
No background permission
The app asks for foreground location only. Closed or in the background, it has no access to your location at all.
Access is narrow and logged
Exact coordinates are shown only to people explicitly granted that permission, and every such view is written to the audit log.
Erased automatically
After the retention period your organization sets, the coordinates are erased from the record and only the result remains: inside the site, or outside it.
FAQ
What people usually ask us
Does the app track employees through the day?
No. Location is read only at the moment an employee clocks in, starts or ends a break, or clocks out — a single reading per report. There is no continuous sampling and no route recording, and the app requests foreground location permission only, so it has no access while in the background.
What if there is no signal, or location services are off?
The report still goes through. It is recorded as “location unavailable” and the manager sees that in the report. An organization can choose a blocking policy that rejects reports from outside a site, but the default is to allow and flag.
How do employees sign in?
With their phone number and a one-time code by SMS. There is no password to remember and an employee does not need an email address. The browser-based management console uses email and password.
What happens when someone forgets to clock out?
The system sends a reminder and automatically closes a shift left open beyond a number of hours the organization sets. The employee can file a correction with the right time for the manager to approve — the original report is kept alongside the correction.
Can we run several sites or branches?
Yes. Each site has its own coordinates and radius, and employees belong to a site, a department and a team. When someone reports, the system picks the nearest site. Each site can carry its own time zone and holiday calendar.
Where is the data stored?
On our servers in Israel. The privacy policy lists the sub-processors we rely on for SMS delivery and push notifications.
